Kodiak Salmon Fishing includes all five species of pacific salmon. As with fishing for salmon anywhere timing your visit to match the fish run is critical to success. King Salmon are available in salt water nearly all year. Sockeye (Red) Salmon begin showing up in May. Pink Salmon arrive in June and both Chum and the mighty Coho (Silver) Salmon arrive in July.
